Would this idea make a good book?

It's actually pretty good!! Is this the beginning of the book? Even is it isn't I am dying to know what happens next! I was a bit depressed when Markus' wife died, but eh, if somone didn't die, a book would not be interesting! You should continue writing and try and get it published!! Any ideas for names yet?
