I would think long and hard. Parrots aren't easy birds to take care of they can be destructive . Why is it free ? Your bedroom isn't really the best place they need to be in an activre part of the house. They are also very noise so could upset your sleep Parrots can live for over 50 years are you ready for that sort of lifetime responsiblity.Parrots are best keep in huge avairy with anothers of their own kind. It is cruel to keep them with only human company can you imagine never see another human being you go mad being keep with out company or their own kind causes the bird mental damage. I would suggest you try and get the owner of the parrot to find it a more suitable rescue home that specialist in parrots rescue.
