I have a rash and not sure what it is?

its on my upper thigh around my private area. there's about 4 different spots.. the rim around them seems a darker pink than the middle. it made me think wring worms, though i tried medicine for it for a few days and it didn't help and its hard to put band aids on such a sensitive area. we also have a lot of cats i always sleep with. what gets me the most is it doesn't itch. if i don't always see it i would have never known they were there. the two older ones have seemed a bit faded.. so maybe i should try that medicine again.. but i don't want to go to the doctor.. I'm scared of stuff like that. any ideas what it could be?
