Did the fbi admit that roswell was alien related?

My cousin told me msn news had something about the FBI releasing a statement admitting that rosewell was really an ufo crash site and alien bodies were found, he said the FBI kept it secret for so long to let the hype cool down so that society didn't completely freak out. I went to some FBI websites (googled it) and saw some veague related news, but if the FBI really came clean wouldn't it be ALL over the news? Wouldn't it be a huge deal? And please no 'anyone who believes in aliens is retarded' bs or 'aliens don't exist' this question isn't about that, its about the fbi coming clean about roswell (if they even did)
